Presenting at the American Art Therapy Association conference: A powerful tool for helping art therapists deepen clients’ engagement with their metaphors.
Introducing Clean Language, a systematic, therapeutic questioning process that gently and respectfully deepens a traumatized client’s self-exploration, removes blocks, releases old patterns, and fosters change at the mind/body level by uncovering and communicating with a client’s internalized metaphors. Participants will practice some Clean Language questions as partners draw.
