This practice group is for people who have basic training in Clean Language, but who still feel like relative beginners. Though the emphasis is on practice, not training, Gina picks a specific Clean nugget to emphasize in each meeting. She will answer questions, offer demonstrations, and drop in during your practice with a partner to offer helpful suggestions, so you can solidify and grow your skills.

Prerequisite: You need to have a basic understanding of Clean Language and familiarity with the developing questions used to gather information, along with knowledge of Symbolic Modeling’s P/R/O model and resource development. (The equivalent of Gina’s Basics Part I course and first workbook.) You do not need to have training in facilitating change, though you may pick up some learnings about change work that are covered in Basics Part Two.

THIS GROUP HAS BEEN CREATED IN RESPONSE TO A REQUEST BY SOME CLEAN ENTHUSIASTS IN AUSTRALIA. FOR THEM, THIS COURSE WIL BE CONSISTENTLY BE TUESDAY MORNINGS FROM 8-9:30AM. AET (AUSTRALIA EASTERN TIME), STARTING ON THIER 3RD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH, MARTCH 15TH.

PARTICIPANTS IN OTHER TIME ZONES SHOULD PLAN THEIR START DATES AND TIMES ACCORDINGLY. THIS POTENTIALLY CREATES TWO CHALLENGES. 1) IF YOUR DAY FOR THIS CLASS WORKS OUT TO BE MONDAYS, THE FIRST MEETING ON THE 2ND MONDAY OF MARCH, WHICH IS THE DAY BEFORE AUSTRALIA’S 3RD TUESDAY! (THIS WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN. STARTING IN APRIL, WE WILL ALL BE IN THE SAME # WEEK). 2) COUNTRIES DO NOT CHANGE FROM STANDARD TO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIMES AND BACK ON THE SAME DATES! YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE YOUR START TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF THE 8 MONTHS. (For example, Gina is in the New York time zone. For her, the meetings will be on Mondays, and she will have to change her start time twice-- in April and October. Just to add to the challenge of computing this, New South Wales falls back an hour on April 3rd, and springs forward an hour on October 2nd in 2022. If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, your seasons are opposite of theirs, and your time will be moving in opposite directions.)
